Volleyball to Host DAC Fall Tournament this Weekend
The CVC Lady Suns Volleyball Team and North Lake College will host the 2018 Dallas Athletic Conference Fall Tournament, beginning this Friday. North Lake will host matches on Friday and Cedar Valley will host matches on Saturday.
CVC is eager to get back to work after splitting matches in their "Back to School Blues" tri-match. After falling to Temple in straight sets, the Lady Suns rallied back to defeat Bryant & Stratton in four sets. Amaya Saenz registered 10 kills in the win over B&S and finished the tri-match with 15 kills. Jasmine Davis finished the series with 17 kills and Samantha Hernandez tallied 47 assists.
Opening pool play, the Lady Suns will face the Pratt Beavers and the Seminole State Trojans. Pratt has lost their last three games and holds a record of 3-9 and Seminole State is currently 3-3 going into this weekend's tournament.
