Suns Baseball Takes Game One at Richland, 10-3

The CVC Baseball Team have taken a game one lead against the Richland Thunderducks after a 10-3 win. Cedar Valley has now won their eighth straight game of the season, improving their record to 8-5 in Metro Athletic Conference action.

Catcher Alex Rivera had a stellar day for the Suns, registering three hits, three runs, two RBIs, and a home run in the rout. Shannon Broussard remained unscathed on the mound as he notched his sixth win and recorded five strikeouts in seven innings pitched allowing only two runs on the day.

J.J. Veloz Jr. added three hits and Daniel Quintanilla posted two RBIs.

The CVC-RLC series continues this Friday at CVC.
