The CVC Baseball Team will wrap up March and begin April with a three-game Metro Athletic Conference series against the Richland Thunderducks, beginning on Wednesday, March 29. RLC will host games one and three, while CVC will host game two.
March has been a very strong month for the Suns so far, holding a 13-3 record during the stretch. In that span, the Suns have won their last seven games, which included a series sweep of Mountain View College, that pushed Cedar Valley to second place in the MAC standings.
The recent play of Shannon Broussard and Jesus Payan has helped fuel the play of CVC, that led to them being rewarded as the Metro Athletic Conference Players of the Week.
This will be the first meeting between the Suns and Thunderducks. Richland is currently in fifth place in the MAC standings with a conference record of 3-9. RLC was swept in their recent series versus Brookhaven.
