Suns Baseball Falls in MAC Series Against Brookhaven

The CVC Baseball Team were swept in their three-game Metro Athletic Conference series this week against the Brookhaven Bears. This is only the second time the Suns have been swept in a MAC series this season.
In game two, the Suns fell 6-3 to the Bears. After going up 3-0 through six innings, Cedar Valley saw their lead slip away after allowing six late BHC runs.
Daniel Quintanilla and J.J. Veloz Jr. each had two hits, with Quintanilla adding two RBIs.
In game three, Cedar Valley was delivered another blow in a 13-7 loss. Alex Rivera finished the day with four hits, three RBIs, and a home run.
The Suns continue Metro Athletic Conference play next week when they face Eastfield College.
