Suns Baseball Drops Two Games in North Lake Series

After claiming game one, the CVC Baseball Team dropped the following two games in their Metro Athletic Conference series against the North Lake Blazers.

The Suns fell behind in game two early after the Blazers jumped out to a 4-0 lead in the top of the third inning. CVC was unable to complete the comeback falling, 8-3. Tylor Frailey, Alex Garcia, and Jesus Payan each scored a run.

Game three was a very close contest between the two squads, with NLC coming away with a 2-1 win over CVC.

With the score tied at 1-1 after the second inning, the Blazers earned the winning run in the eighth inning. Alex Rivera had two hits and one run in the loss.

The Suns will face Dallas Christian College (J.V.) this Monday at DCC.
