As they head into the final week of the regular season, the CVC Baseball Team will face the Richland Thunderducks as they prepare for the postseason. The Suns sit in second place in the MAC and have clinched a berth in the District C Regional Tournament.
The Suns have won three of their last four outings, including their recent MAC series against Mountain View College. The Suns currently hold a 16-11 record in the MAC, 33-15 overall.
Richland is currently in fifth place in the MAC standings with a conference record of 11-16, 25-23 overall. RLC has won their last two MAC series over Eastfield and Brookhaven.
In the last meeting between the two squads, the Suns won two games out of their three games set against the Thunderducks.
The series will begin this Wednesday with Richland hosting game one and Cedar Valley will host games two and three.
