The CVC Baseball Team were swept in their season home opening doubleheader by the Cisco Wranglers on Saturday afternoon.
In game one, the Wranglers shutout the Suns, 19-0. Freshmen Nick Balley, Billy Rogers, and Jamison Totten each had a hit
After holding an early lead in game two, CVC fell to Cisco 16-5. Nolyn Box and Hugo Garcia-Gaytan each recorded two RBIs. with Box addind a home run.
Along with Box, Blake Birdwell, Daniel Quintanilla, Billy Rogers, and Totten all crossed home plate in the second game.
Next up, the Suns will take on the Southwestern Pirates in Georgetown on Tuesday.
