The CVC Suns Baseball Team will begin Dallas Athletic Conference action this week when they take on the Richland Thunderducks in a three-game series starting on Wednesday. Cedar Valley is currently 4-3 entering conference action.
CVC earned a huge win in their recent series splitting against No. 2 Tyler winning game one, 4-2. Chandler Boyd went 2-3 at the plate, registering two runs and two doubles, while Ryan Ratliff earned the win from the mound, and Ryan Foley was awarded the save.
Richland is currently 10-2 having defeated TCS Post Grad in their last contest, 13-2.
Last season, the Suns and Thunderducks each won a series against each other in DAC competition.
