The CVC Suns Baseball Team were unable to pull off a late rally in their game one loss to the Richland Thunderducks on Wednesday afternoon, 6-4. Blake Birdwell had two RBIs in the loss.
Four different Suns scored runs (Leonardo Aguilar, Jose Castillo, Isaia Diermier, Ryan Ratliff) with Ryan Ratliff and Ben Cross adding RBIs. Billy Rogers went 2-4 from the plate.
Cedar Valley continues its series against Richland on Friday.
