Baseball Scores 21 Runs in Game One Win vs. Mountain View
It was nothing but fireworks for the CVC Suns Baseball Team as they defeated the Mountain View Lions, 21-9 on Wednesday afternoon. NJCAA Players of the Week, Jose Castillo and Billy Rogers each hit two home runs, with Isaia Diermier and Grant Moore hitting a home run as well.
Castillo notched seven RBIs and three runs, while Rogers posted four runs and four RBIs.
Leo Aguilar and Grant Moore each crossed home plate three times, while Blake Birdwell chipped in three RBIs.
Noah Lynch was awarded the win tossing seven strikeouts in six innings pitched and Ryan Foley earned the save throwing two strikeouts.
The Suns continue their series against MVC this Friday at CVC.
