Entering the final week of the regular season, the CVC Baseball Team will prepare for their last Dallas Athletic Conference showdown against the Brookhaven Bears who are in second place of the DAC standings. Cedar Valley is currently in third place with Eastfield on their heels, both teams have a 13-14 conference record.
After falling to Eastfield, 2-1 in their last DAC series, CVC bounced back to sweep the Dallas Christian Crusaders in a doubleheader on Monday afternoon.
The last time the two squads met earlier this season, the Bears came away with a 2-1 series victory over the Suns.
