MAC Series: Suns Baseball vs. Brookhaven

The CVC Baseball Team will begin Metro Athletic Conference play this week, when they face the Brookhaven Bears in a three game series that stretches from Wednesday to Saturday.

The first game of the series will be hosted by Brookhaven, before returning to Cedar Valley for the final two games.

The Suns currently hold a record of 5-2, and enter conference play after sweeping Jarvis Christian College (J.V.) in a doubleheader.

The Bears recently won a doubleheader series over Clarendon College, where they scored at least eight runs in each of their wins.

Also this week, Shannon Broussard was named Metro Athletic Conference Player of the Week, for his performance against Angelina College.
