The CVC Baseball Team will wrap up the month of April with a three-game Metro Athletic Conference set against the Mountain View Lions. The Suns currently hold the third spot in the MAC as they continue to battle for post-season contention.
CVC is looking to rebound after falling to North Lake College in their last MAC series. After picking up a game one victory, Cedar Valley dropped games two and three.
In the last meeting between the two squads, the Suns came away with a series sweep and Shannon Broussard and Jesus Payan earned MAC Player of the Week accolades.
The Lions are in the last place of the MAC, with a conference record of 2-22. In their last outing, MVC was swept by Brookhaven College in their series.
